Tips for pursuing big goals and getting the right things done.

When it comes to personal branding sessions, there are three types of images that I prioritize for all of my clients, no matter their industry.

I’ve found that rotating between these three types of images helps them show up more consistently and tell their brand story from every angle.

In today’s post, I’m sharing the three types of images I capture, why they matter, and how you can use these images to market your business too!

Photo #1: Modern Headshots

A “modern” headshot is definitely not your traditional headshot on a white background..

A modern headshot:
1️⃣ Showcases your personality
2️⃣ Adds visual interest through a unique pose, setting, or movement and
3️⃣ Paints the picture of what it’s like to work with you

You need a headshot that makes the right first impression on your ideal clients because it’s often the first thing they’ll see.

These photos of my clients tell you what you can expect when you work with them in person. Don’t they just look like someone who you’d love to hang out with?

Pictures speak louder than words, and your headshot is often the first impression your potential clients get from you online. Make it count!

Photo #2: Behind the Scenes

Behind the scenes images are what most small business owners aren’t sharing, and where YOU can make the magic happen!

People are insanely curious about how the sausage gets made. The little things that you do behind the scenes may actually be very interesting (and valuable) for your ideal clients to know about.

Not only does this help your potential clients picture themselves working with you, it can also help you create personal connections online as people relate to your excitement or frustration with different parts of you job.

This is why I help my clients create packing lists for their branding photoshoots – props can make or break the effectiveness of your photos!

Photo #3: “Branded Stock”

I’m sure you know what a stock photo is, but what’s a “branded” stock photo? I may have made this word up, so let me explain!

Branded stock photos match your brand and keep your images consistent, but ALSO break up your feed. If you ever wondered what I’m doing while you’re changing your outfit, this is it!

These are images that don’t show your face, but highlight the props you bring to your branding session or the environment you work in.

They help you tell your story without having to show your face in every photo.

I’ve found that including branded stock photos helps my clients show up more consistently without overthinking it because it’s easier to share photos without your face in them.

Do you have all three photos in your feed?

My goal for every branding session is to deliver as much branded content as possible in the time we have together, so that you can spend more time doing what you do best!!

If you’re dying to get back more time in your day, submit my contact form today and start showing up like a boss and booking your ideal clients online!
